About JPG to GIF
JPG to GIF does two jobs. Upload a single photo and you get it back as a GIF at the same size, for the forum or older system that insists on that format: the colors are reduced with dithering so gradients stay smooth, and a PNG with a transparent background stays see-through. Upload several JPG or PNG images and they become the frames of an animated GIF: a before-and-after, a product from four angles or a short slideshow for a chat. HEIC files from an iPhone aren't accepted here, so run them through HEIC to JPG first.
Frames play in the order shown on the page. Drag the thumbnails to rearrange them, or use Sort by name for numbered files. Time per frame decides how long each picture stays up, and Loop forever keeps the animation running. An animation is 480 pixels wide unless you set another Width, and Different shapes decides what happens to pictures of another shape: Pad fits them in without stretching, Crop to fill fills the frame, and Stretch fills it by distorting. Under More options, Boomerang plays forwards and then backwards, and Colours and Dithering trade smoothness for a smaller file. For an animated WebP or APNG, or crossfades, use GIF Maker.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Full-size single GIFs
One picture keeps its own size, with smooth dithered colors and its transparency.
- Photos become frames
Each image you add turns into one frame of the animation, in the order you set, looping or not.
- Width and shapes your way
Choose the width, and pad, crop to fill or stretch pictures of different shapes.
- Boomerang and colors
Play forwards and then backwards, and pick the colors and dithering for a smaller file.
