About PNG to SVG
PNG to SVG traces the shapes in a picture and rebuilds them as vector paths. It's meant for logos, icons, signatures and line art, meaning images with clear edges and a limited number of colors. The SVG can then be scaled up for a banner, sent to a cutting machine or edited in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma.
Choose Full color to keep each color as its own shapes, or Black & white for a single-color trace. Detail decides how much of the picture is kept: lower values drop specks and tiny bits, higher ones hold on to fine lines. Curve smoothing, under More options, controls how rounded the outlines come out. Photos can be traced too, but they become posterized drawings rather than photos.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Real vector paths
The result is built from shapes and curves, not an embedded bitmap, so it stays sharp at any size.
- Color or one color
Full color keeps each color as its own shapes; Black & white gives one clean silhouette.
- Detail control
Raise Detail for fine lines and small lettering, or lower it to ignore noise and specks.
- Smoother outlines
Curve smoothing turns jagged pixel edges into flowing curves.
