Faster web fonts

TTF to WOFF2 compresses a desktop font for the web and can keep only the characters you list. The Web Font Generator produces WOFF2, WOFF and TTF files with an @font-face snippet, lets you choose the font-display value and can embed the font in the CSS as Base64. WOFF2 is the most compact of the web formats, and every current browser reads it.

WOFF2 to TTF and WOFF to TTF turn web fonts into files you can install on Windows or macOS, which helps when you have a font only as a web file but need it in a design app. OTF to TTF converts OpenType CFF outlines to TrueType for programs that only take TTF, and TTC to TTF splits a font collection into separate files.

Subsetting Chinese fonts

Only fonts you own or whose licence allows conversion, and each tool asks you to confirm that. Many licences cover desktop use but not web embedding, so check yours before you publish.

Do you keep the fonts I upload?
No. Font files are sent over HTTPS, converted in an isolated process and deleted automatically an hour later. We don't share them or use them for anything else.
