About PNG to WebP
PNG to WebP is the easy fix for heavy PNGs on a website, such as logos, product cut-outs, screenshots and illustrations. WebP supports transparency just like PNG, so a logo on a see-through background keeps its clean edges, but the file is often a fraction of the size. Where WebP isn't accepted and you don't need transparency, PNG to JPG is another way to make the file smaller.
Two settings matter. Lossless keeps every pixel exactly and suits flat graphics, icons and screenshots with text. Leave it off for photos and detailed artwork and use Quality, 90 by default, where lossy compression saves the most. Under More options you can resize the image during the same conversion.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Transparency kept
Transparent and semi-transparent pixels carry over, so shadows and soft edges look right on any background.
- Lossless mode
An exact copy of every pixel, and for flat artwork usually smaller than the PNG it came from.
- Lossy for photos
Quality from 10 to 100 gives the biggest savings on photographic images.
- Resize while converting
Scale down oversized images by width, height, box or percentage.
