About CR2 to JPG
CR2 to JPG is for Canon shooters who need a quick, shareable copy of a RAW photo. CR2 is the RAW format of Canon DSLRs, and newer Canon bodies such as the EOS R series record CR3, which works here too. Neither format opens in most photo viewers, messaging apps or print services. RAW files from other camera brands have their own converters in Image Converter.
Upload the file and download a JPG. Auto brightness, on by default, lifts dark exposures to an even level; switch it off to keep the exposure exactly as shot. Quality starts at 90, a good level for prints and sharing alike. You don't need Canon's Digital Photo Professional or any other RAW software on the computer or phone you're using.
