About GIF to PNG
GIF to PNG covers two needs. For a still picture, such as a thumbnail, a sticker to edit or a frame for a document, keep First frame only and you get a clean PNG of the opening frame. For editing or studying an animation, choose Every frame (ZIP) and each frame arrives as its own PNG.
Frames are numbered in playing order, so dance.gif gives you dance_001.png, dance_002.png and so on, packed into dance_frames.zip. Transparent areas stay transparent, and because PNG is lossless, the GIF's colors come through untouched. A still GIF simply becomes one PNG. More conversions for GIF and other formats are listed in Image Converter.
