AI OCR: all 7 tools
Copy text out of pictures
Image to Text (OCR) reads JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF and HEIC images, or a PDF made of scans, and shows the text with a copy button. Keep the line breaks as they are in the picture for lists and receipts, or join the paragraphs for articles and letters. The text can also be downloaded as a TXT file.
Make scans usable
OCR PDF adds an invisible text layer to a scanned PDF, so you can search it with Ctrl+F and copy from it while the page looks exactly the same. Scan to PDF turns phone photos of documents into straight, cropped pages with enhanced colour, grayscale or black-and-white clean-up.
Rebuild the document
Image to Word recreates headings, paragraphs and ruled tables from a photo or scan, and several photos become one document in the order you add them. Image to Excel puts a photographed table back into cells, keeps merged cells, turns amounts into real numbers and leaves long IDs as text.
Good to know
The engine reads printed English and Chinese, including lines that mix both. These five tools count as normal tasks and don't use AI credits, while Handwriting to Text and Math Formula OCR are coming soon and will run on AI credits. Uploads are deleted after an hour.
