About ARW to JPG
ARW to JPG is for Sony shooters who need a JPG copy without opening a RAW editor. ARW is the RAW format of Sony Alpha and other Sony cameras, and while it holds all the sensor detail, phones, websites and photo labs generally can't read it. For RAW shots from a phone or drone, saved as DNG, use DNG to JPG.
Upload the ARW and download a JPG. Auto brightness, on by default, brightens underexposed frames; turn it off and the exposure stays as recorded. Set Quality to suit the job, with 90, the default, working well for prints and sharing alike. Keep the ARW as your master file for any serious editing later, and there's no need to install Imaging Edge or other desktop software for a quick copy.
