Slides as pictures

PowerPoint to JPG exports every slide at 72, 150 or 300 DPI, the first two for screens and the last for print. PowerPoint to PNG gives sharp, lossless slides for manuals, wikis and web pages. Both read PPTX, PPT and ODP.

Handouts and web pages

PowerPoint to Word builds a handout in one of three layouts: each slide as a picture with its text, the text alone, or the pictures alone. Include speaker notes is on by default, so the notes come along too. PowerPoint to HTML publishes the deck as a web page with a simple viewer for flipping through the slides.

Slideshow files

A PPSX file opens straight into a slideshow, which makes it awkward to edit. PPSX to PPTX turns it back into a normal presentation, and PPSM and PPS files work as well. The slides stay as they were; only the way the file opens changes.

Other formats

PPT to PPTX, PPTX to PPT, Keynote to PPT, Keynote to PDF, ODP to PPT and PowerPoint to Video are coming soon. PowerPoint to PDF is already available in the PDF Converter category. Uploaded decks travel over HTTPS and are deleted an hour after the task, and a whole deck counts as one task, however many slides it has.

FAQ

Presentation Converter: questions and answers

Which files does the presentation converter accept?
PPTX, PPT and ODP for the image, Word and HTML converters, and PPSX, PPSM or PPS for PPSX to PPTX. Keynote files will follow when the Keynote converters open.
How do I save PowerPoint slides as images?
Open PowerPoint to JPG, upload the deck and pick 150 DPI for screens and documents or 300 DPI for print. Every slide comes back as its own image, and PowerPoint to PNG gives you lossless files instead.
Are speaker notes included when I convert to Word?
Yes. PowerPoint to Word includes them by default, and you can untick Include speaker notes when the handout should show only the slides and their text.
Is the presentation converter free?
Yes. Decks up to 50 MB can be converted for free, twice without signing up and twice a day with a free account. VIP has no daily cap and handles files up to 1 GB, which helps with video-heavy presentations.
Is my presentation kept private?
Yes. The deck is uploaded over HTTPS, converted in an isolated process and erased automatically after an hour, together with the images or documents made from it.
