About TIFF to JPG
TIFF to JPG is for the big files that scanners, cameras and archives produce. TIFF is great for storing images without loss, but a single high-resolution scan can be too heavy for email and is refused by many upload forms. JPG brings it down to a size that's easy to send and opens on any device. Camera RAW files are covered too, by the RAW converters in Image Converter.
Quality starts at 90, which keeps text and fine detail in scans readable. The DPI value in the TIFF carries over, so print sizes stay the same, and any transparent areas are filled with the Background color you choose. Under More options you can shrink the image to a set width or height, or by percentage, which makes the biggest difference with high-resolution scans.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Big files made small
JPG compression turns heavy TIFF scans into files that fit email and upload limits.
- DPI preserved
The resolution setting from the TIFF is kept, so the JPG prints at the same size.
- Readable scans
The default quality of 90 keeps small print, stamps and signatures clear.
- Resize in one go
Reduce the pixel dimensions of oversized scans by width, height, box or percentage.
