About WebP to JPG
WebP to JPG is for the moment you save an image from a website and end up with a .webp file that your editor, slideshow app or upload form won't take. Many sites serve WebP because it loads faster, but plenty of software, print services and online forms still expect JPG.
Upload the WebP and download a standard JPG. Transparent parts are filled with the Background color you choose, white by default, and the Quality slider starts at 90. An animated WebP comes out as a still JPG of its first frame; to keep the motion, use WebP to GIF instead. Keep photo info (EXIF) decides if camera details come along, and resizing is under More options.
How to use WebP to JPG
- 1Add the WebP image
Click Choose file or drop the .webp file you saved from the web.
- 2Adjust the settings
Set Quality and a Background color for any transparent areas, and open More options to resize.
- 3Click WebP to JPG
The image is converted on our server in a separate, isolated process.
- 4Save your JPG
Download it and use it anywhere. The name stays the same apart from the new .jpg ending.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Accepted everywhere
JPG works in older photo viewers, office software, print services and forms that turn WebP away.
- Transparency handled
Clear areas are filled with the Background color you pick, white unless you change it.
- Quality you control
Slide from 10 to 100 to balance sharpness against file size; 90 is the default.
- Resize if needed
Shrink a huge image to a set width, height or percentage while it converts.
