Online Translation: all 14 tools
One translator for every document
The Document Translator takes PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, subtitles, EPUB, TXT, Markdown, HTML, JSON, YAML and PO files on one page, so you don't need to find the right tool first. The file translators below are the same translator, set up for one kind of file, with a few extra settings. A PDF paragraph stays in its box, a table cell in its cell, a slide keeps its text boxes and a subtitle keeps its timing.
Text, speech and web pages
The Text Translator translates as you type, up to 5,000 characters at a time, and detects the language you write in. The Voice Translator gives each person in a conversation a microphone in their own language and reads every translation aloud. The Website Translator translates a whole web page from its address and keeps its layout.
Side by side, and pictures
The Bilingual PDF Translator puts the original and the translation side by side, handy for papers and contracts. Translate Image reads the words in a screenshot or photo and puts the translation back where they were.
Before you start
Scanned PDFs are pictures with no text layer, so run them through OCR PDF first. Machine translation is great for understanding and working drafts; a contract or official letter still deserves a check by a fluent reader. Files are deleted automatically one hour after the task.
