Privacy policy

This policy explains what Cubfile ("we") collects when you use cubfile.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Your files

• In-browser tools process files on your device. The file is never uploaded to our servers.
• Server tools receive your file over encrypted HTTPS, process it in an isolated worker, and delete it automatically one hour after processing. You can delete it sooner with "Delete now". Results are available only through a private link.
• We do not read, share or sell your files, and we do not use them to train AI models. Staff never open user files unless you ask us to investigate a specific task.
• AI features send the text or audio of your file to our AI processing provider only to produce your result. The provider may not keep it or use it for anything else.
• Webmaster lookups (a website, domain or IP you check) are kept on our server for 2 hours so you can share the result. A report you share is kept for 30 days and can be opened by anyone with its link; then it is deleted. The company name and logo you put on a PDF report stay in your browser.

2. Account information

If you create an account we store your email address, name, profile picture (when you sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple or Microsoft), language, favorite tools, task history (file names and sizes, not contents) and saved signatures. You can change or delete all of this in your account settings.

3. Payments

Payments are handled by our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan and invoices.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use one session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms, and your browser's local storage to remember your language and favorites. We also set a cookie that recognises your browser when you come back, so that we can count visits. Our own visit statistics, which stay on our servers and are never shared with advertising or analytics companies, record the pages you open and how long they stay on screen, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or another site), your browser, system and type of device, and your IP address with the country and city it points to. They also record what you do with the tools: the type and size of the files you add (never their names or contents), whether processing worked, downloads, what you search for on the site and any error messages shown, so that we can find and fix the problems people run into. Each sign-in to an account is recorded the same way, to protect the account.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time, and object to or restrict processing. Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR, and California residents under the CCPA. To use them, contact us through the contact form.

6. How long we keep data

• Uploaded and processed files: 1 hour (VIP task history can keep results for up to 30 days if you turn it on).
• Webmaster lookup results: 2 hours; reports you share: 30 days.
• Task history: up to 12 months, or until you delete it.
• Visit statistics (pages, features used, errors met, IP address and its approximate location): up to 25 months.
• Sign-in records: 12 months.
• Account data: until you delete your account.
• Invoices: as long as tax law requires.

7. Children

Cubfile is not intended for children under 13 (under 16 in the EU).

8. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. We will email account holders about material changes.
