About Split PDF
Split PDF files when only part of a document needs to go somewhere: chapter 3 for a reviewer, one payslip out of a year's worth, or a scanned batch that should really be twelve separate letters. All pages open as thumbnails. Click the scissors between two pages to cut there, and colored groups show which pages end up in which file.
You can also type ranges such as 1-3, 4-8, 9, split every N pages, or turn each page into its own PDF. Tick Put all ranges in one PDF to pull scattered sections into a single file instead. Each part is named after the original plus its pages, like report_4-8.pdf, and when there are several parts they also come as one ZIP.
How to use Split PDF
- 1Open your PDF
Click Choose file or drop the PDF here. Its pages appear as thumbnails while it uploads.
- 2Mark the cuts
Click the scissors between pages, or choose By page ranges, Every N pages or Every page on the right.
- 3Split and download
Click Split PDF, then download the parts one by one or all together with Download all (ZIP).
Why use Cubfile for this
- Scissors between pages
Cut visually instead of counting. Each group gets its own color, so you can check the result before you run it.
- Three ways to split
Custom ranges, fixed chunks of N pages, or one PDF per page for scanned stacks of single-page letters.
- Ranges into one file
Pick pages 2-4 and 9-12 and join them into a single new PDF in the same step.
- File names that make sense
Every part carries the source name and its page numbers, so statement_7.pdf is easy to find later.
