About Edit PDF Bookmarks
Edit PDF bookmarks to turn a 200-page manual, a thesis or a merged stack of scans into something people can find their way around. Existing bookmarks load into a list next to a page preview. Add bookmark here creates one for the page you're looking at and suggests a title from its largest text. Rename it, change its page number, move it up or down, or use » and « to nest it under another.
Find headings reads the document, picks out lines set in larger type and proposes up to three levels of bookmarks in one go. You can then tidy the list by hand. The saved PDF is set to open with the bookmarks panel showing in readers that support it. If someone only needs one chapter, Split PDF can cut it out by its page range.
