About Redact PDF
Redact PDF documents before they go to a court, a journalist, a client or a public portal. Drawing a black rectangle in an ordinary editor only covers the text, and anyone can still copy it out. Here every page with a black box is rebuilt as an image, so the hidden words can't be selected, searched or recovered. Pages without redactions keep their text.
Drag boxes over anything you want gone, or type words to find, one per line, and tick presets for phone numbers, email addresses, ID numbers, and card numbers or IBANs. Mark all matches puts a box on every hit across the document, and you can check or delete each one before saving.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Removed, not just covered
Redacted pages are flattened into images, so there's no text left underneath to copy.
- Find and mark
Search the whole document for names or words and box every match in one step.
- Presets for personal data
Phone numbers, emails, ID numbers such as an SSN, National Insurance number or Aadhaar, card numbers and IBANs are found by pattern, check digits included.
- Other pages keep their text
Only pages with black boxes become images; the rest stay searchable and sharp.
