About Crop PDF
Crop PDF pages to get rid of wide white margins before reading on a phone or tablet, or to cut a slide, a chart or a receipt out of a larger page. When the text sits differently on each page, set Crop to Each page’s own white margins: every page is trimmed to its own content and keeps the Margin to keep you choose, 5 mm unless you change it. The margin color is read from the page edge, so grey scans are trimmed too, and the black border a scanner lid leaves is cut away.
To keep one exact area, leave Crop on To the box I draw, drag on the preview and fine-tune the corners, or press Trim white margins to fit the box to the content of the page shown. That box is used on every page, so flip through with the arrows to check it fits, or list only some pages in Pages, for example 2-5. When the chart or photo is a picture stored inside the PDF, Extract Images from PDF saves it in its original quality. Keep in mind that cropping hides what's outside without erasing it from the file. To remove sensitive content for real, use Redact PDF.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Each page trimmed on its own
Every page gets a crop around its own content, with 0 to 30 mm of margin left around it.
- Made for scans
The margin color is read from the page edge, so grey scans are trimmed and black scanner borders removed.
- Draw what to keep
A resizable box over a live preview, with the kept share of the page shown as a percentage.
- Content stays sharp
Cropping changes the visible area only, so text and graphics inside it remain vector.
