About Merge PDF
Merge PDF files when a portal takes one upload and you have five: a signed contract and its annexes, a visa application with bank statements, a pile of receipts for an expense claim. Add the files, drag the cards into order or press Sort by name, and they come out as a single PDF. Each card shows its page count, so you can check nothing is missing.
With Add a bookmark for each file switched on, the merged PDF gets a bookmark named after every source file, and bookmarks already inside those files come along too. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and nothing is redrawn. The finished file is named after the first one, like merged_contract.pdf, unless you type your own name.
How to use Merge PDF
- 1Add your PDFs
Click Choose files or drop the PDFs on the page. You need at least two.
- 2Put them in order
Drag the cards into place, or press Sort by name so part-2 comes before part-10.
- 3Check the options
Leave Add a bookmark for each file on if you want one per file. Under More options you can name the merged file.
- 4Merge and download
Click Merge PDF and save the combined document.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Any order you like
Drag files around or sort them by name, with numbers read the way people read them, so chapter-9 comes before chapter-10.
- A bookmark per file
Every source file becomes a bookmark in the merged PDF, and the bookmarks it already had are carried over.
- Pages copied, not redrawn
Text stays selectable and images keep their resolution, because each page goes into the new file unchanged.
- Up to 50 files at once
Free and guest users combine up to 20 PDFs per task. VIP raises that to 50, each file up to 1 GB.
