About Add Header and Footer
Add headers and footers to reports, handouts and submissions that need the same line on every page: a project name, a client, a date, a "Draft" label. Type the header, the footer or both. In either line, {page} becomes the page number and {total} the page count, so Page {page} of {total} reads as Page 3 of 12 on the third page of a 12-page file.
Pick left, center or right alignment and a font size from 6 to 36 pt. Skip the first page keeps a cover clean, and Pages limits the text to the ranges you list. The text is set in a quiet dark gray about 1 cm from the edge, and Chinese works as well.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Page placeholders
{page} and {total} fill in the right numbers on every page automatically.
- Header, footer or both
Each line is optional, and both share the same alignment and size.
- Skip the cover
Leave the first page untouched, or apply the text only to ranges you choose.
- Chinese and English
Both scripts print correctly thanks to an embedded font.
