About Split GIF into Frames
Split GIF into frames when you need a single moment from an animation: the best expression for a sticker, a frame for a thumbnail, or all frames to retouch in an editor and reassemble. Upload a GIF or an animated WebP and every frame comes out as its own picture. Frame step keeps every frame, every 2nd, every 3rd and so on up to every 10th, which thins out a long clip.
Under Save as, pick Separate frames, One sprite sheet or Both. The sprite sheet puts all the frames on one picture in a grid, left to right and top to bottom, for CSS and game animations, and the result gives the grid, columns × rows, and the size of a frame. Separate frames are numbered in playing order, like clip_001.png and clip_002.png, so they sort correctly in any folder, each at the animation's full size, and Frame format can be PNG, JPG or WebP. PNG is lossless and keeps transparent areas transparent, and so does the sprite sheet. Download everything in one ZIP or pick single files from the list.
