About Photo Collage
A photo collage turns a handful of pictures into one post: a weekend trip in a nine-grid, a before-and-after pair, or four product angles in a square. Add 2 to 9 photos and Auto picks the arrangement and order that crops them least, with layouts of their own for seven and eight photos instead of a grid with empty spaces. A mix of landscape and portrait shots can be laid out in rows, the way photo galleries do, with every photo shown whole or nearly whole, whenever that cuts less than a grid. You can also choose a layout yourself, from two side by side to a 3 × 3 grid.
Pick the shape, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 4:3, 16:9 or 9:16, and the Size (long side): 1080 px (social posts), 2000 px or 4000 px (print). Spacing is the same between the photos as around the edge, Corner radius rounds every photo, and Caption under the photos adds a line such as the place and date, in Chinese, Japanese or Korean too. Under More options, Fit chooses between Automatic (whole photo when it would be cut too much), Fill each space (edges trimmed) and Whole photos (nothing cut off), and the collage is saved as JPG or PNG. Faces near the edge of a filled space can be framed first with Crop Image.
How to use Photo Collage
- 1Add your photos
Choose or drop 2 to 9 JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos.
- 2Arrange the order
Drag the cards into order. A fixed layout fills its spaces in that order, and Auto may change it when that crops the photos less.
- 3Choose layout, shape and size
Pick a Layout, an Aspect ratio and a Size (long side), then Spacing, Corner radius, Background color and a caption.
- 4Make the collage
Click Photo Collage and download the finished JPG or PNG.
