About Photo Editor
The online photo editor brings the site's picture tools and image converters into one window, so there is no uploading and downloading between pages. The sections are on the left: Crop (free, social media sizes, turn, mirror, straighten, round and other shapes), Size (pixels, a canvas round it, DPI, and free transform by dragging), Adjust (one-tap fix, exposure, levels, hue, temperature, clarity and more), Filters (each shown on your picture, pure black and white and invert among them), Cut out (tap a colour to take the background away, an eraser and a restore brush for the edges, an outline drawn round the subject, and white, a colour, a blur or another picture behind it), Mend (a mending brush and a box that fill a watermark, a date or a small thing from what is round it, and a clone brush), Text, Marks, Layers (pictures, logos, QR codes and stickers, hidden or moved up as you like), Redact, Watermark, Border, ID photo, Combine (a collage, one long picture, an animated GIF, a PDF) and Smart (the text and QR codes in a picture read, and AI tools).
Nothing is baked in: the strip at the foot lists every step, to reopen or remove, with undo, redo and a history; hold Compare to see the original. The colour picker takes a colour from the picture and shows its main colours, and every colour row can take one from the picture too. The keyboard shortcuts people know from desktop editors work: Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Alt+T for free transform, C crop, T text, W tap to remove, E eraser, J mending brush, I colour picker, [ and ] for the brush size, and the space bar held to move the view; press ? for all of them. Exporting is converting: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or PDF, and for JPG, PNG and WebP a limit such as "at most 200 KB", met at the best quality that fits. It can also write the DPI, cut the picture into a grid, make a website's icons or Base64 code. Several pictures can be edited together, one's steps applied to the rest, all saved in a ZIP. Apart from what says so first (AVIF, reading text and QR codes, finding numbers, the AI tools), everything happens in your browser.
How to use Photo Editor
- 1Open pictures
Drop them in, paste a screenshot, choose files or take a photo on a phone. iPhone HEIC photos are converted by the site first.
- 2Pick a section
Crop, Adjust, Cut out, Mend, Text, Layers and more on the left (at the bottom on a phone), with the picture always in view; or a shortcut key, or Ctrl+K to find a tool by name.
- 3Change and compare
Reopen or remove any step in the strip at the foot, hold Compare to see the original, undo and redo at any time.
- 4Export
Choose the format, quality or a KB limit and the DPI, check the file size, then download, copy, share, cut it into a grid or make website icons.
