About Flip Image
Flip image files when a front-camera selfie shows your text backwards, a product shot faces the wrong way in a page layout, or you need a mirror copy for an iron-on transfer. Horizontal swaps left and right. Vertical turns the picture upside down, like a reflection in water, and Both ways (upside down) does both at once, which leaves writing readable, just upside down.
Every file you add is flipped the same way, and each keeps its format: JPG stays JPG, and a transparent PNG keeps its transparency. A JPEG is saved again with its own compression settings, so it keeps about its size with no visible loss, and the date taken and camera information stay unless you turn off Keep photo info (EXIF). Animated GIFs are flipped frame by frame and keep playing, and iPhone HEIC photos come back as JPG so they open anywhere. To turn a picture by 90°, use Rotate Image.
