About Blur Image
Blur image areas you don't want strangers to see: the children's faces in a class photo, a car's number plate in a street shot, the address on a parcel label, or the order number in a screenshot for a support ticket. Drag on the picture to draw an area and keep drawing for the next one, or tap to add an area where you tap, which is handy on a phone. Drag an area's corners to resize it and its middle to move it, and × removes it. Choose Oval (for faces) under Shape of the areas you draw, then hide everything at once with a soft Blur, a Pixelate mosaic or a Solid block. With no area drawn, the whole picture is covered, and several pictures in one task all get the same areas. Drawings or notes on a screenshot can be added in the Photo Editor.
Find and cover automatically reads the picture and covers only the characters of the detail, so in a chat screenshot that says "my number is 138…", only the number goes. Pick Phone numbers, ID numbers, Bank card numbers, E-mail addresses, Any long number (orders, accounts) or All text. Phone numbers include Chinese mobiles and landlines, numbers with a +country code, the (415) 555-0132 style, numbers starting with 0 such as Japanese, Korean, German and French mobiles, and Spanish, Italian, Russian and Brazilian mobiles written without their country code. ID numbers cover the Chinese 18-digit resident ID, the Korean resident registration number, Japan's My Number, US social security numbers, the Spanish DNI and NIE, the Italian codice fiscale, the Brazilian CPF and Russian passport numbers, and bank cards are 13 to 19 digits that pass the card check digit. Any other kind of document number can be covered by drawing an area over it. What is found is covered so it can't be read back, with a blur at least as wide as the text is tall and fine grain on top, since a plain blur of digits can sometimes be sharpened back. The result says how many details were found and names any picture where nothing was. Find and cover automatically is a VIP feature, and free accounts can try VIP features once a day. It reads printed and on-screen text, so handwriting and very small or blurry text can be missed, and faces are never found automatically, so check the result and draw what's left. Location and camera data (EXIF) are never kept in the saved picture.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Every area in one go
Draw as many areas as you need, as rectangles or as ovals that fit faces, and cover them all at once.
- Numbers found for you
Phone, ID and bank card numbers, e-mail addresses or all text are read and covered, the words around them left readable. It's a VIP feature that free accounts can try once a day.
- Can't be read back
The pixels in each area are replaced, and details found automatically get a blur as wide as the text is tall, with grain on top.
- Location data removed
The saved picture carries no GPS position or camera data, and JPG stays JPG and PNG stays PNG.
