About Rotate Image
Rotate image files that came out sideways: a photo of a contract sent through a chat app, a document scanned upside down, a screenshot from a tablet. Pick 90° right, 90° left or 180° and every file you add is turned the same way. Or choose Stand upright by itself: photos of pages taken sideways or upside down are turned by the direction of their text, since chat apps drop the camera's orientation, and photos the camera marked as sideways are turned as well. The result lists which pictures were turned, or tells you that nothing needed turning. The rotation is written into the pixels, so the picture looks right in every app and on every website, and animated GIFs keep playing. The Photo Editor can rotate a single photo while you also adjust it or draw on it.
Straighten a tilt takes out a lean of up to 20°, a scanned or photographed page by its lines of text and a photo by its horizon and straight edges such as walls, doors and windows, and the result says by how many degrees. For a value of your own, choose Any angle and enter a number between −180 and 180. Corners decides what happens to the corners after a turn by an angle: Automatic crops them off a straightened picture and fills them for any other angle, or choose Crop them off for the largest upright rectangle with no empty wedges, Fill with a colour, or See-through (PNG), which leaves them clear and brings even a JPG back as a PNG. A JPEG photo is saved again with its own compression settings, so it stays about the size it was with no visible loss, and the date taken and camera information stay with it unless you turn off Keep photo info (EXIF).

Why use Cubfile for this
- Upright by itself
Sideways and upside-down photos of pages are turned by their text, and camera-marked photos by their orientation.
- Tilt taken out
Leans of up to 20° are straightened by lines of text, the horizon or walls, and the result gives the degrees.
- Clean corners
Crop off the empty wedges, fill them with a color, or leave them see-through, with a JPG then saved as a PNG.
- Quality and photo info kept
A JPEG keeps its own compression settings and about its size, and the date taken and camera stay.
