About TXT to Word
TXT to Word takes text that was never meant to look good, like phone notes, a letter, a novel downloaded as .txt or an export from an old system, and sets it as a proper Word document. Paste the text or upload the file; the encoding is detected, so GBK, Big5, Shift-JIS and UTF-16 files open without garbled characters. A letter or a list keeps one paragraph a line, and lines are joined only where a text was wrapped at a fixed width, like a novel cut at 70 characters a line. Exports saved as .rtf go through RTF to Word instead.
The text is read the way our TXT to EPUB reads it. Remove website ads and licence text, on by default, leaves out the lines a website slipped into a downloaded novel, bare web addresses and the Project Gutenberg licence, and the text's own contents list goes too. A title and author on the first lines, such as 《书名》, 作者:… or Title:, become the title and author at the top of the document. Volumes and chapters, like Part Two, Chapter 3 or 第三章, become Word headings, volumes above their chapters, so the navigation pane and a contents list use them, and lines that start with a dash or with a number such as 1. become real Word lists. Chinese paragraphs are indented two characters and Japanese ones one, with wider line spacing for Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Under Font, choose Sans-serif (Calibri, YaHei) or Serif (Cambria, SimSun), with matching Japanese and Korean fonts, set the Font size and tick Contents list if you want one, while Page numbers in the footer, on by default, prints Page 3 of 12 at the foot of each page. Several TXT files become one document, a part per file. A document for each file is a VIP choice.

Pasted text comes back as document.docx, and uploaded files keep their name.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Paragraphs as written
A letter or a list keeps one paragraph a line, and only text wrapped at a fixed width is joined back together.
- Adverts and clutter gone
Lines a website added, bare web addresses, the Project Gutenberg licence and the text's own contents list are left out.
- Chapters and lists in Word
Volumes and chapters become headings for the navigation pane, and dash or numbered lines become real Word lists.
- Any encoding, fitting fonts
GBK, Big5, Shift-JIS and UTF-16 are detected, and Chinese, Japanese and Korean get fonts and spacing to match.
