About ODT to Word
ODT to Word conversion bridges the gap when you write in LibreOffice or OpenOffice but a client, a teacher or an HR portal expects a Word file. Recent Word versions can open many ODT files, but not every system or person can. Upload the .odt and download a DOCX with the same name. Apple Pages documents have their own converter, Pages to Word.
Headings keep their levels, and paragraphs, bold and italic text, lists, tables and pictures are rebuilt in Word's format. Fonts, colors, page layout and numbered-list styles aren't carried over, and pictures are placed at a standard width, so give formatted documents a quick look before sending them on.
How to use ODT to Word

Why use Cubfile for this
- Headings stay headings
Heading levels come across as Word's Heading styles, so the navigation pane and tables of contents work.
- Tables and pictures
Tables arrive as Word tables, and pictures are placed in the text where they were.
- Lists and emphasis
List items, bold and italic text carry over into the DOCX.
- For Word-only recipients
Useful for portals and colleagues that accept only DOCX.
