About Word to TXT
Word to TXT strips a document down to its words when formatting gets in the way: pasting into a web form or a CMS, feeding text to a script or a translation tool, or keeping a lightweight copy for search. Many converters drop Word's automatic list numbers; here 1., 2.1, a) and bullets come out exactly as Word shows them.
Tables become one line per row with cells separated by tabs, so they paste neatly into a spreadsheet. Tabs and manual line breaks are kept, text in text boxes appears once, and runs of blank lines are tidied. The text shows up on the page with a Copy button, and you can download it as a UTF-8 .txt file. Headers, footers and footnotes aren't included.
