About Word to PNG

Word to PNG gives you page images without the blurry halos JPG leaves around text. That matters for pages full of small print, tables, formulas or diagrams, and for images you'll edit further or drop into a design, where PNG's lossless quality keeps every line clean. Upload a DOCX, DOC, ODT or RTF, or several documents at once, and each page becomes one PNG, laid out the way the document prints.

Under Picture size, choose 72, 150 or 300 DPI, 150 being the default and 300 right for print, or By width in pixels, so every page comes out exactly as wide as a slide or a web page needs. Pages converts just the pages you list, like 2-4 or 1, 3, 5, and Color can turn plain text pages to Grayscale or Black & white, which keeps the files much smaller. Free accounts turn up to 100 pages per document into PNGs, while VIP handles 1,000 pages and adds 600 DPI (print shop). Free accounts get widths up to 2560 px, or as wide as 300 DPI makes a large page, while VIP goes up to 8000 px, and the result says when a width was cut down. PNG files are larger than JPGs, so for quick sharing, Word to JPG may suit better.

How to use Word to PNG
