Pages to PDF is for the moment a Mac or iPad user sends you a .pages file and nothing on your Windows PC or Android phone will open it. Instead of asking them to export it again, upload the file here and read it as a PDF.

It's also a quick way to pass a Pages document on to a school portal, a print shop or a colleague who works with PDF. Upload the .pages file, press the button and download the result, with no settings to choose. The PDF can be read, printed and shared on any device, with nothing extra to install.

Pages to PDF: questions and answers

Why can't I open a .pages file on Windows?
Pages is the word processor from Apple, and its files open only in Pages on a Mac, iPhone or iPad, or through iCloud. Converting Pages to PDF gives you a file any device can read.
Do I need a Mac to use Pages to PDF?
No. The conversion happens on our server, so any browser on Windows, Linux, Android or a Chromebook will do.
Can I edit the document afterwards?
A PDF is meant for reading and printing. If you need to change the text, ask the sender for a Word file, or use Pages to Word. For tables you want to work with in a spreadsheet, run the PDF through PDF to Excel.
Can I convert Pages to PDF for free?
Yes, up to 2 tasks in total for visitors and 2 a day for free accounts, with files up to 50 MB. VIP has no task limit.
Is the document kept on your server?
No. It's deleted automatically one hour after conversion, together with the PDF, and nobody opens it.
