About ODT to PDF
ODT to PDF is for when you write in LibreOffice or OpenOffice but the person on the other end uses Word, a phone or an upload form that only takes PDF. An .odt file can open with a shifted layout or not at all, while a PDF looks the same everywhere. Documents saved as DOCX go through Word to PDF instead.
Upload an ODT document and its headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, lists, tables and pictures are laid out on PDF pages. ODS spreadsheets can go through the same page, and each sheet is printed as a table. You don't need LibreOffice installed, which helps on a phone, a borrowed computer or a locked-down work PC. The page has no settings, so you just upload and convert.
