About ODS to Excel
ODS to Excel helps when you work in LibreOffice or OpenOffice Calc and the people you send files to live in Excel, or when a client portal only accepts .xlsx. Upload the .ods file and every sheet comes back in an Excel workbook, keeping its name and its place in the tab order. Portals that want CSV instead are covered by Excel to CSV, which reads .ods files as well.
Numbers, percentages and currency amounts arrive as numbers, true/false cells stay booleans, and formulas are replaced by the results Calc worked out. Columns are sized to their contents. Styling such as colours, borders and merged cells isn't carried over, and dates come across as the text Calc showed, so give formatted reports a quick look in Excel before you send them.
How to use ODS to Excel

Each sheet is read and written into a new .xlsx workbook in an isolated process.
- 3Download the workbook
Save the .xlsx and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Every sheet included
Multi-sheet Calc files keep all their sheets and sheet names in the Excel version.
- Real numbers, not text
Amounts, percentages and currency values are numeric cells you can sum and chart right away.
- Formula results kept
Whatever Calc calculated is written into the cells, so totals match what you saw in LibreOffice.
- No office suite needed
Convert on a phone, a Chromebook or any computer, without LibreOffice or Excel installed.
