About JSON to CSV
JSON to CSV takes the output of an API, a NoSQL export or a config dump and lays it out as rows and columns that Excel, Google Sheets or a BI tool can load. Paste the JSON or open a file; the CSV appears as you type, with one row per object and a header row built from every key found in the data.
Nested objects become dotted columns such as address.city, lists of simple values are joined into one cell, and lists of objects spread over numbered columns like items[0].sku. Values that contain the separator, quotes or line breaks are quoted. Choose comma, semicolon or tab, and the saved file carries a UTF-8 BOM so Excel shows every character correctly. Everything happens in your browser.
How to use JSON to CSV
- 1Paste or open JSON
Paste into Input, drop a .json file on the box or use Open file. Mistakes are pointed out as you type.
- 2Pick a separator
Choose comma, semicolon or Tab under Separator to suit the program that will open the CSV.
- 3Save the CSV
Copy the JSON to CSV result, or click Save for a .csv file that opens in Excel with the right characters.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Nested keys flattened
Deep objects turn into readable column names like customer.address.city.
- Columns for every key
Objects with different fields still line up; a missing value leaves an empty cell.
- Excel-friendly file
Saved CSVs start with a UTF-8 BOM, so accents and Chinese text don't turn into gibberish.
- Private and unlimited
Your JSON never leaves the browser, and conversions don't count as tasks.
