About Excel to Image
Excel to Image is the quick way to show a table to someone who shouldn't have to open a spreadsheet: a pricing grid for a chat message, a KPI table in a slide, a timetable on a website, a rota for a group chat. Upload an XLSX, XLS or ODS file, or several workbooks at once, and each printed page becomes a picture, with the empty paper margin cropped away so only the table is left. Turn off Trim the empty page around the table when you want the whole printed page instead. If the table on a website should stay selectable text, Excel to HTML turns the sheet into an HTML table.
Numbers look the way they do in Excel, with thousands separators, decimals, percentages and dates formatted as in the sheet, and charts and pictures on the sheet are part of the output. Image format offers JPG for smaller files, PNG for crisp text or WebP, with Quality under More options. Size the pictures by resolution, 72, 150 or 300 DPI, or By width in pixels, such as 1080 px for a phone, list Pages to render only some of them, and choose color, grayscale or black and white under Color. 600 DPI (print shop) is a VIP choice. Free accounts get widths up to 2560 px, or as wide as 300 DPI makes a large page, while VIP goes up to 8000 px, and the result says when a width was cut down. Free accounts convert up to 20 workbooks per task, and VIP up to 50.
How to use Excel to Image
- 1Upload the spreadsheet
Choose or drop one or more .xlsx, .xls or .ods files. Hidden sheets are skipped.
- 2Pick format and size
Set Image format to JPG, PNG or WebP, and choose a Resolution, 150 DPI by default, or a width in pixels.

Your sheets are laid out as pages, and each page is rendered as an image and trimmed to the table.
- 4Download the images
One page gives one picture; several pages or workbooks also come as a ZIP.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Cropped to the content
The blank page around your table is trimmed, leaving a small white border, or kept when you switch trimming off.
- Charts come along
Charts and pictures placed on a sheet are rendered into the images too.
- Formatted like Excel
Thousands separators, decimals, percentages, currencies and dates appear as they do in the sheet.
- Screen or print size
72 DPI for a quick look, 150 for sharing, 300 for print, or an exact width in pixels. 600 DPI and widths up to 8000 px come with VIP.
