About Mind Map Maker
The Mind Map Maker is a complete mind mapping program in one window. Select a topic and type to replace its text (the first syllable of an input method is never lost), or press Space or F2 to carry on after it; Tab adds a subtopic, Enter a sibling, Shift+Tab a parent and Delete removes a branch. Drag a topic onto another branch or between siblings to move it, with Alt to copy it. Paste an indented list, Markdown, or a numbered outline and it becomes branches level by level.
Structures: mind map, logic chart to the right or left, org chart down or up, tree list, timeline, fishbone with the head on either side, and bracket — and every branch can take its own. Style: 12 themes; branch colours in rainbow, one colour, mirrored or two in turn; curved, straight, elbow or tapered lines; seven topic shapes; fill, text colour, weight and width per topic, and a format painter. Numbering (1.1.1, A. 1. a. and more) is only shown, never written into the text. Topics take markers, labels, to-dos, notes, links and pictures; relationships, summaries and boundaries join them; floating topics go anywhere, and a file can hold several sheets.
Switch to the outline to write a lot — it is the same map. Present branch by branch or topic by topic, from the start or from the selected topic. Recite mode covers topics so you can test yourself, then prints a covered and an answer version or exports flashcards. Find and replace and a map check find duplicate, empty and very long topics. Export .xmind, .mm, OPML, .km, Markdown, plain text, Word, Excel, PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, a long picture for phones or a web page, and print on one page or tiled over several. Maps and their versions stay in your browser; a share link can carry the map itself.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Ten structures, mixed by branch
Mind map, logic charts, org charts, tree list, timeline, fishbones and bracket; any branch can use its own.
- Map and outline are one
In the outline Enter adds, Tab indents and Shift+Tab outdents; back in the map it is already up to date. On a phone the outline is the easy way to write.
- Relationships, summaries, boundaries
Link two topics with a labelled line, sum up or frame a few subtopics, and double-click empty space for a floating topic.
- Recite mode
Cover topics by level, at random or by marker, open them one by one, note what you remembered and practise the rest; print it or export flashcards.
- Presenting and printing
Present branch by branch or topic by topic, from any topic; print on one page or over several with 5 mm overlaps.
- Files stay on your device
Open and save .xmind; read and write .mm, OPML, .km, Markdown, text, Word and Excel; export pictures, PDF, a long picture and a web page — all in the browser, nothing uploaded.
