About FB2 to EPUB
FB2 to EPUB is for FictionBook files, the format behind many Russian and Eastern European e-book libraries, which most readers outside that world can't open. Apple Books, Kobo and Kindle's Send to Kindle all take EPUB instead. Upload the .fb2, or the .fb2.zip just as you downloaded it, and get an EPUB that keeps what makes the book: italics and bold, notes linked both ways, poems line by line, epigraphs, tables and the book's own cover. To prepare the EPUB for a particular Kindle model, run it through Convert for Kindle.
Sections become chapters, and parts that hold chapters become the upper level of a contents list you can tap, also written the older EPUB 2 way so older readers show it too. The title, author, language, annotation and the series name and number are carried over, so e-book apps show the description and group the book with the rest of its series. When the file has no cover, Cover makes a clean one from the title and author, or uses a picture of your own, and Paragraphs sets the text indented like a printed book or spaced apart.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Formatting kept
Italics, bold, poems line by line, epigraphs and tables look the way the book set them.
- Notes you can tap
Note numbers are links, so a tap on one brings up its note, and the note's ↩ link takes you back to the text.
- Cover and series
The book's own cover goes on the shelf, and the series name and number group it with the others.
- Chapters in levels
Parts and chapters make a contents list with levels that older e-readers show too.
