About Translate Excel
Translate Excel files when a spreadsheet has to work for people who read another language, like a product list for a foreign marketplace, a price sheet for a distributor, survey answers from several countries or an inventory with labels a new colleague can't read. Upload an XLSX or XLS file and the text in every sheet is translated. For a CSV export, use the Document Translator.
Numbers and formulas are left untouched, so totals and lookups keep working. Tick Translate sheet names too if the tab names should change as well, but leave it off when formulas refer to other sheets by name, since renamed tabs can break those references. Product names and codes can come out oddly, so scan the translated columns before you publish or send the file.

Open the workbook, scan the translated columns and confirm your formulas still add up.
Why use Cubfile for this
- Formulas left alone
Cells that start with an equals sign aren't touched, and numbers stay exactly as they were.
- Every sheet at once
The whole workbook is translated in one go, not one tab at a time.
- Optional sheet names
Translate the tab names too, or keep them as they are to protect cross-sheet references.
- New and old Excel files
Both XLSX and the older XLS format are accepted.
