About DWG to DXF
Convert DWG to DXF when your drawing has to go into software that can't open AutoCAD's own format. LibreCAD, Inkscape, many CAM packages and the programs that run laser cutters read DXF, and fabricators often ask for it by name. Upload the .dwg and download the same drawing as a .dxf.
Under AutoCAD version, choose which release the DXF should follow: 2018, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2004 or 2000. A newer release keeps more object types, and an older one helps when a program says the file is too new to open. DXF is usually stored as plain text, so expect the file to be larger than the DWG.

Why use Cubfile for this
- Six DXF versions
Write DXF for AutoCAD 2018, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2004 or 2000 to match what the other side uses.
- Readable well beyond AutoCAD
LibreCAD, Inkscape and many laser and CNC programs import DXF even when they can't read DWG.
- No CAD license needed
Convert from any browser on a computer or phone, without installing AutoCAD.
- Files gone in an hour
Uploads are encrypted, each job runs in its own process, and both files are deleted automatically after one hour.
