About AI Photo Enhancer

The AI Photo Enhancer is for pictures that came out softer than you hoped, such as a shaky phone shot, an image squeezed by a chat app, a photo of an old print or a picture you only have in low resolution. The AI sharpens edges and textures so the whole photo looks crisper.

Enhance faces, on by default, gives faces extra attention and brings back clearer eyes, skin and hair. Turn it off for photos without people, or if a face ends up looking too smooth. Enlarge lets you keep the original size or double it. The new detail is reconstructed by the AI, which makes it a convincing estimate rather than a recovery of what the camera never captured.

What kind of photos does the AI Photo Enhancer fix best?
Slightly blurry, soft or compressed photos, especially portraits. Heavy motion blur, or a subject only a few pixels wide, will improve but won't become perfectly sharp. For scratched or stained old prints, Old Photo Restoration repairs the damage as well.
Should I keep Enhance faces on?
For photos with people, yes, since faces get special treatment. For landscapes, products or text, turn it off, and also if a face ends up looking too smooth.
Can the AI Photo Enhancer make a photo bigger?
Yes, choose 2× under Enlarge to double the width and height. For 4× enlargement, or for anime and illustrations, use AI Image Upscaler.
How many photos can I enhance for free?
Free accounts get 1 AI task each day for images up to 50 MB. VIP plans include monthly AI credits and accept files up to 1 GB.
Is it safe to enhance family photos here?
Yes. Photos are sent over an encrypted connection, enhanced in a process of their own and erased automatically after an hour. Our team never views them, and they're not used for AI training.
