About AI Object Remover

The AI Object Remover cleans up your own photos. Paint over a stranger who walked into your holiday shot, a power line across the sky, a trash can by the door or a spot on a product, and the AI removes it and fills the gap with background that matches the surroundings.

There are no settings to learn, because you brush and the AI does the rest. Cover the whole object with a little margin, shadow included, for the cleanest result. Plain backgrounds such as sky, walls, grass or sand are filled most convincingly, while large objects in front of detailed patterns may leave traces. Use it only on photos you took or have the right to edit.

AI Object Remover: questions and answers

What can the AI Object Remover erase?
People in the background, cars, cables, signs, trash, blemishes, dust spots and similar distractions in your own photos. It works best when the object sits in front of a fairly simple background. To hide faces rather than erase people, use Blur Faces.
Why is there a smudge where the object was?
The background behind it was probably complex, such as text, a crowd or a detailed pattern. Mark the area again with a slightly larger margin, including any shadow. When the whole background is the problem, Remove Background cuts the subject out instead.
Can I use the AI Object Remover on pictures I didn't take?
Only if you have the right to edit them. Removing watermarks or credits from someone else's work can break copyright law, so keep it to your own photos.
Can I remove an object from a photo for free?
You can run 1 AI task a day on a free account, with photos up to 50 MB. For more edits and larger files, up to 1 GB, VIP plans include a monthly allowance of AI credits.
Who sees the photos I edit?
No one. Your photo is uploaded securely, edited in an isolated process and deleted automatically after one hour. It's never used to train AI.
