About AI Background Changer

The AI Background Changer keeps the person or product in your photo and swaps out everything behind it. Put a shot from a cluttered kitchen on a clean color, blur a busy street behind a portrait, place a product in front of a picture you took yourself, or describe a setting and let the AI create it. If you only need the cut-out on a transparent background, Remove Background does just that.

Pick the New background from Solid color, Blur the original, My own photo or Describe a scene. For a scene, type a short description, such as a marble table by a sunny window. Add a soft shadow, on by default, grounds the subject so it doesn't look pasted on. Generated scenes are invented by the AI rather than real places, so give lighting and perspective a quick look before you publish.

What can I describe with the AI Background Changer?
Settings such as a marble table by a sunny window, a beach at sunset or a plain studio backdrop. Short, concrete descriptions give the most predictable scenes. The AI Image Generator creates a whole picture from a description like these.
Can the AI Background Changer use my own photo as the background?
Yes. Choose My own photo and upload a JPG or PNG. Your subject is placed in front of it, with a soft shadow if you keep that option on.
Will the new background look realistic?
Solid colors and blurs are predictable. Generated scenes are made up by the AI, so check lighting and perspective, and try a different description if something looks off.
How much does it cost to change a background?
Each run uses AI credits. A free account covers 1 AI task a day with photos up to 50 MB, and VIP plans come with a monthly allowance and a 1 GB file limit.
What happens to my photos?
Your photo and any background picture you add travel over HTTPS, are processed in an isolated process and are deleted automatically after one hour. Neither is used to train AI.
