About Colorize Photo
Colorize Photo gives black-and-white pictures natural-looking color. Grandparents' wedding photos, old school portraits and historic street scenes feel much closer when you can see skin tones, sky and fabric in color. Upload a scan and the AI works out plausible colors for every part of the picture. A colorized scan can be enlarged 2× or 4× for printing with the AI Image Upscaler.
Saturation sets how strong the colors are, from a subtle 50% to a vivid 150%, with 100% as the natural starting point. JPG, PNG, WebP and TIFF scans are accepted. The colors are the AI's best estimate, so it can't know that a coat was actually red. If the photo is also scratched or faded, use Old Photo Restoration with Add color instead.
