About Meta Tag Generator
Use this meta tag generator when you launch a page, rewrite a title that gets few clicks, or set up the head of a CMS template. As you type the title and description, you see their length in characters and in pixels, with a preview of the snippet in Google and Baidu. The Google preview can show the result on a computer or on a phone. Google cuts long titles by pixel width rather than by a fixed number of characters, so a title full of wide letters or Chinese characters runs out of room sooner than the character count suggests. A missing title or description is flagged, and if you fill in keywords, a note reminds you that Google doesn't use that tag.
The rest of the head is covered too: the canonical URL, robots directives (index or noindex, follow or nofollow, noarchive, nosnippet and max-image-preview:large), viewport, charset, language, author and theme color. Under Search engine verification, paste the code that Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools or Yandex Webmaster gives you, or the whole meta tag, and only the code is kept. Tick Also make the Open Graph and X (Twitter) tags to add share tags to the same code, with a site name and a share picture, ideally 1200 × 630. The output is one block of ready-to-paste HTML for the head of your page. When the page is live, compare it with the Meta Tag Checker. Everything runs in your browser, so titles for pages you haven't published yet stay on your device.
