About Schema Markup Generator
A schema markup generator saves you from writing JSON-LD by hand, where one missing comma breaks the whole block and a misspelled property is silently ignored. Choose one of 12 types: Article, FAQPage, Product with offer, rating, brand and SKU, Organization, LocalBusiness with address, opening hours and map coordinates, BreadcrumbList, Event, WebSite, Person, HowTo, VideoObject and SoftwareApplication. Questions, breadcrumbs, steps and opening hours are repeatable rows. As you fill in the form, the markup is checked against what Google asks for rich results: missing required properties show in red, the check turns green once everything required is there, and recommended properties are listed. Values in the wrong form are pointed out too, such as a relative link where a full https:// address is needed, a date that isn't in ISO form or a price with a currency sign.
To test markup you already have, choose Check existing code in the type list and paste any JSON-LD, with or without its script tag. Several blocks and @graph are fine, and everything is checked the same way. When a page needs more than one type, such as Organization, BreadcrumbList and Product, click Add to this page after each one and copy them together as one @graph. The notes also tell you what Google no longer shows: FAQ rich results only for well-known, authoritative government and health websites since August 2023, no HowTo rich results since September 2023 and no sitelinks search box since November 2024. A link to the Google Rich Results Test sits next to the result, and our Structured Data Checker tests the published page. The generator runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
