About Image to Word
Image to Word is for the page you only have as a picture: a photographed notice, a scanned letter, a screenshot of a document someone shared. Upload JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP or HEIC images and get a DOCX file with real, editable text. With Photo of a page: cut it out and straighten it on, as it is by default, the page in a camera photo is found, the desk around it left out and the page straightened before it's read, so the edges of the desk don't turn into stray text. Pictures taken sideways or upside down are turned upright first, by the camera's record or else by the direction of their text, and the result says how many were turned or cut out. Only camera photos are searched for a page, so screenshots stay as they are, whether PNG or JPG.
Headings come out larger than body text, paragraphs are rejoined, centered titles stay centered and first-line indents are kept. Tables drawn with grid lines become real Word tables. Several images turn into one document, in the order you add them. Tick Keep the original picture in the document to add the images after the text, which is handy for checking the result against the source. The engine reads English and Chinese, and the text is set in Microsoft YaHei, which suits both.
How to use Image to Word
- 1Add your images
Click Choose files or drop photos, scans or screenshots, in the order the pages should read. A page shot on a desk, even sideways, is fine.
- 2Check the two options
Leave Photo of a page: cut it out and straighten it on, and tick Keep the original picture in the document if you want the images after the text.
- 3Convert image to Word
Click Image to Word and download the DOCX file.
