About Image to Text (OCR)
Image to text saves you retyping a notice you photographed, a chat screenshot, a scanned letter or a slide someone sent as a picture. Upload JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF or HEIC images, or a PDF whose pages are scans, and the recognized text appears on the page with a Copy button. You can also download it as a TXT file. For an editable document with headings and tables, use Image to Word instead.
Keep decides how the lines come out. Line breaks as in the image keeps every line as it was, which suits lists, receipts and addresses, while Paragraphs joined puts wrapped lines back together for articles and letters. The engine reads English and Chinese, including mixed lines; other languages and handwriting aren't recognized reliably. Several images can go in one task, each under its own heading.
