About TTF to WOFF2
TTF to WOFF2 is the step between a desktop font and a fast website. A TTF or OTF file works in @font-face, but WOFF2 is compressed for the web, so visitors download less before your text appears in the right typeface. Upload a TTF or OTF file and download the WOFF2. The Web Font Generator goes a step further, adding WOFF, TTF and a ready-made @font-face rule.
To go further, turn on Keep only the characters I use and paste the text your pages need into Characters to keep. Everything else is left out, which makes a big difference for Chinese, Japanese and Korean fonts with thousands of glyphs. Before converting, tick the box confirming you own the font or its licence allows it.
