About Font Subsetter
A font subsetter removes every character you don't need. That matters most for Chinese, Japanese and Korean fonts, which carry thousands of glyphs and often weigh several megabytes, far too much for a web page, a mini program or an app that only shows a headline or a logo. Keep just the characters in your text and the file drops to a small fraction of its size. If your font is a .ttc collection, split it into TTF files first with TTC to TTF.
Choose what to keep. The text I paste keeps exactly the characters you paste, which suits a fixed headline, a logo or a poster. GB2312 (6,763 Chinese characters) and 3,500 common Chinese characters cover everyday text on pages where the content changes, and Latin letters and symbols keeps the Western set. Download the result as WOFF2, WOFF or TTF.
